Fudgy, fast, and gluten-free! Harness the power of microwave baking when you need a batch of brownies fast. These “bad boys” have less sugar than other mixes on the market, without skimping on the rich, indulgent flavour we crave.

Ingredients
Preparation

MICROWAVE

  1. In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 14 cup milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
  2. Microwave, uncovered, on high 4 min. Rest in pan for 6 min and unmold. Cool before serving.

OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 2 tbsp milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
  3. Bake 20–25 min, or until toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few crumbs on it. Cool in pan before serving.
Tips

Stir 14 cup walnuts or chocolate chips into batter.

Swap different extracts for vanilla—try peppermint, orange, or cherry extract!

For an easy-to-prepare icing, melt chocolate chips and pour over warm brownies. When they cool, the brownies will have a smooth, chocolate glaze.

Cooking time in the microwave varies based on microwave wattage. Microwaved brownies taste best when eaten the same day.
